A downloadable game

Multiplayer Prototype is a cooperative platformer and puzzle game designed for two players via Steam. To play, make sure Steam is running before launching the game.

This project was developed as a learning experience to explore multiplayer implementation in Unreal Engine 5 using the Steam API. It's not a fully polished or complete game—just a prototype created to prove that seamless Steam-based multiplayer is possible.

Install instructions

First, make sure to open steam and that you and your friend are in the same region inside downloads in steam. (You can still play without being in the same region, but you won't be able to find each other's lobbies).

  • Open Steam;
  • Extract the .zip file;
  • Run the .exe;
  • Have fun :^)
